What to expect: Long and dangerous climb up to the top of K1. The trail begins at the Pali lookout, same as the Pali Notches. Head up past the notches and you will face the "chimney". Continue up and away to the peak! This hike features some very dangerous climbing on eroding basalt rock. Beware of weather conditions before attempting. Overgrown trail once above the chimney.
